Common questions
Questions people ask before they book
How many can sleep here, cards, pets, checkout, and the Idaho lodge.
How many people can stay?
Twenty-five, day and night. If you want extra people for a daytime gathering, we can host up to 50 with a $3,000 event fee. Overnight is still 25.
Do you take credit cards?
We don’t. Payment is an electronic check or a check in the mail. That’s how this house has always been booked — directly with us.
Are pets allowed?
No animals, and we don’t make exceptions. There’s boarding in Port Hadlock, about eight miles away: dogandigroomandboard.com.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 4:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Quiet hours start at 10:00 PM.
Where do I send payment?
Mail checks to 512 Blue Mountain Rd, Chimacum, WA 98325 — that’s Dave’s house, not the rental. The house you’ll stay in (and the map pin) is 516 Blue Mountain Rd.
Is this the same as Three Peaks Lodge?
Same owners, different house. Blue Mountain Retreat is in Chimacum, Washington — 6,500 sq ft, sleeps 25, payment by check. The Idaho lodge is threepeakslodge.com.
Can we invite more than 25 for a daytime gathering?
Yes, up to 50 people, with a $3,000 event fee. Sleeping is still capped at 25. Call Dave before you print invitations.
How do we get here from Seattle?
Most groups take the Kingston or Bainbridge ferry, then drive up the peninsula to Chimacum. We’ll send directions after you book. Don’t put 512 in the GPS.
